Dear friends,

On her first match at 14-09-2009, Crawfields Calendorn Benthe succeeded for her first certificate today! The place where the match was organised is called “Markvelde”.

She had to fetch a duck out of the water, a rabbit on a distance of ca. 30 m, she had to follow with and without the line, she was sent away and had to come back on the whistle, then she had to stay put out of my sight for two minutes. Her score was 8 – 9 – 6 – 9 – 8, total score 40 points (of 50) on what is called a “KNJV C-diploma” in the Netherlands.  KNJV means Koninklijke Nederlandse Jagers Vereniging, the official Royal Dutch Hunters Association.

Benthe won the 2nd price!!

Totally there were participating 85 dogs. 17 dogs have got a C-certificate (KNJV C-diploma). The first place has got 41 points, Benthe has got the second place with 40 points and the third place had 39 points. With following with and without the line, Benthe was a bit restless and too enthousiastic, then I lost some points.

36 dogs have got a B-certificate (3 parts more than a C-certificate), and 8 dogs got a A-certificate (2 parts more than a B-certificate).

Unfortunately did Crawfields Cindy (Thess) not succeed. Her score was 6 – 0 – 8 – 10 – 10. Because of the 0, she did not get her C-certificate.

Saturday 19.09.2009 we will try to get a C-certificate again in a place called Enschede.
